The State Route 210 projects that include 11 segments of 27 miles of highway, three mixed flow lanes, and 1 HOV lane in each direction will improve the highway in Fontana, CA to its final connection to State Route 215 and the existing Route 30 in San Bernardino, CA. Interstate 10 projects will provide new truck climbing lanes, widening of 11 bridges in Redlands and construction of a new diamond interchange between Redlands and Yucaipa.
These projects involve extensive coordination with the Cities of Fontana, Rialto, San Bernardino, Redlands, and Yucaipa; Caltrans and the County of San Bernardino Department of Transportation and Flood Control. New bridges will be supported primarily by driven steel piles, cast in place piles, concrete abutments and bents.
RMA Group is prime consultant responsible for materials testing and inspection services for these projects that involve nine separate construction projects on State Route 210 and Interstate 10 over a period of six years.
